Research interests

My research aims at reconstructing the paleoclimatic, paleoenvironmental, and paleoceanographic conditions of oceanic anoxic events (e.g. T-OAE, Early Jurassic, ca 181 Ma) and focuses on their significance with regard to the present-day global warming. My scientific approach implies geochemical analyses and extensive fieldwork sessions with a special interest for shallow-marine carbonate ecosystems.
