Abstract
Modern production companies face increasingly volatile markets and therefore fluctuating demand volumes. In order to control these fluctuations, measures of load control as well as capacity and process planning are used, but their effect and contexts usually have no comprehensive clarity. In this article, the measures are generally defined, differentiated and categorized by their effect. Then an approach for temporal and monetary evaluation is presented, by which the selection of suitable combinations of measures is to be promoted.
