Abstract

A microfluidic chip integrating a gas cell and two lateral differential pumping stages is used to generate ultraviolet supercontinua via third-harmonic generation in neon or argon. Spectra spanning from 200 to 325 nm are obtained with pulse energies up to ~0.8 µJ, corresponding to 0.2% conversion efficiency.
