Abstract
While business model innovation as driver of success is well established, limited research has been conducted on how companies can systematically innovate their business models. Against this background this paper consolidates the state of both academic and practitioner-oriented literature on business model innovation. Based on a systematic review of literature published over the past 19 years, we synthesize our findings into a multi-dimensional framework of business model innovation.
