Abstract
Companies try to increase their competitiveness through more efficient processes and more innovative employees. On the one hand, they use methods for process improvement and on the other hand, methods for competence development. However, the choice of methods is rarely systematical. In addition, synergy effects are usually disregarded. The following article describes an approach for the efficient selection of methods for process improvement and simultaneous competence development.
