Abstract
The article deals with a study of the influence of pulse electrode wire feeding parameters for GMA surfacing on the conditions of formation of the deposited metal bead. It is shown that a change of wire feed speed and thereby of the acceleration of the wire at the constant power parameters during GMA surfacing makes it possible to influence the formation of the deposited bead and the amount of losses of electrode metal. This result is achieved by changing the kinematic conditions of electrode metal transfer from the electrode tip into the molten metal pool through the arc gap.
