Abstract
The analysis of two innovative coplanar waveguide-fed planar antennas, applying a simulation tool based on the finite-difference time-domain method (FDTD) in a nonuniformly discretized grid, is presented in this paper. A planar slot and inverted F-antenna are designed, realized, and tested. The influence of the coaxial connector required for the measurements is also examined.
