Abstract
With increasing complexity and interconnection of the production processes, the emergence of failures increases. As a result, companies are increasingly trying to implement an efficient failure management. Therefore in a research project a methodology is developed to support SME in the identification of failures and in the selecting of measures for rectification and prevention. The structure of the methodology is described in this paper.
