Abstract

We present measurements of a single-particle transport spectrum of a vertical GaAs/AlGaAs resonant tunneling device at high magnetic fields. We investigated the spin splitting of several quantum dot levels. A detailed analysis of the spin-resolved local density of states fluctuations revealed strong correlations in their pattern underlining the origin of the different energy levels belonging to the same spectrometer probing the local disorder of the emitter.
