Abstract
Within the scope of innovative process chains 100% control during the manufacture of components gains in importance. A basic inspection feature is the form and position examination of components before the crucial machining steps. Because of the quick measuring data acquisition during the production process, optical sensors are used, which have to be integrated into machine tools. At the example of two precision-forged components the necessity of the measuring data acquisition and the integration of optical sensors into the machine tool are pointed out.
