Abstract
This paper presents results of hydraulic model tests in a 3D wave basin dealing with the determination of mean overtopping rates at dykes with topped vertical wall. Data are discussed in context of established analytical approaches and qualitatively agree with these. Furthermore, scattering of mean overtopping discharges along the crest of the test structures is quantified.
