Abstract

Conveyor belts are generally stressed by a collective of various stresses. In cooperation with Phoenix Conveyor Belt Systems GmbH, the Institute of Transport-and Automation Technology developed practice related test-methods, which allow statements about the abrasion and cutting resistance. These test-methods were verified by field measurements and standards shall be developed.
