Abstract
The formation of high-strength steels in hydraulic deep drawing presses pose high requirements on the drive system with regard to precision and dynamics. Therefore, the structure and the parameterization of the electrohydraulic control cycles are of great importance. Today they are mostly constructed during the startup on the strength of many years of practical experiences and are directly set into the machines. Theoretically-based methods, which rest on setup controls of the linear control technique and a numeric optimization, can contribute to reduce the experimental effort. A precondition to this is the utilization of the numerical simulation.
