Abstract
To satisfy constantly rising customer expectations companies have to ensure the quality of their processes and products. As a consequence quality requirements have to be integrated in the factory planning and process design already prior to the start of production. An appropriate approach is developed at the Lenze SE, a specialist in drive and automation technology and the Institute of Production Systems and Logistics (IFA) of the Leibniz University of Hanover.
