Abstract
The customers' requests for high-quality products have risen in the past few years. A high-quality good can only be produced if the processes can be handled professionally. The quality of processes, however, is determined strongly by the factory concept. Should quality aspects be disregarded during the planning of the factory concept, the resulting quality problems in products and processes can only be reduced with a high effort. A systematic has been derived at the Institute of Production Systems and Logistics (IFA) that allows implementing quality considerations of a product already at the stage of factory planning.
