Abstract
We study the propagation of edge magnetoplasmons by time-resolved current measurements in the quantum Hall regime. Using selective detection of edge states we distinguish two modes of edge excitations propagating with different velocities along the neighboring compressible strips at filling factors close to v = 3. From the analysis of the propagation velocities of each mode the internal spatial parameters of the edge structure are calculated.
