Abstract
Mesostructured lamellar iron(hydro)oxyhydroxide-surfactant composites have been prepared using novel synthetic methods based on the hydrolysis chemistry of FeIII. By carefully adjusting the reaction conditions, composites with inorganic walls from ca. 19-26 Å can be synthesised in a controllable manner.
