Abstract

The architecture and implementation of a programmable video signal processor for multimedia applications is presented. The processor has been realized in a 0,6 μm CMOS technology and provides a peak performance of 1.2 Giga Arithmetic Operations per Second at a clock rate of 75 MHz. The power consumption of the device is less than 1 W.
