Abstract
Due to intense international competition, increasing quality standards and a rising number of variants germanys engine building industry is obliged to enhance its processes permanently. The research project IDproBlech engages in development, implementation and control of innovative product-service- combinations in the process chain of sheet metal forming. The project intends to optimise the allocation of already existing and complete new services inside the process chain. By means of a comprehensive identification and analysis of existing services, configuration of new services and the development of product-service-combinations and business models, new market potentials could be realised. The IDproBlech approach includes the development of technical enablers for the product-service-combinations and a concept for enhanced evaluation of business models.
