Abstract
Standard oil tests und dissolved gas analyses (DGA) are elementary methods of the condition assessment of power transformers. Especially the DGA is based in the first step on the evaluation if the considered oil sample shows typical gas concentrations or not. In this contribution, it was investigated if relationships between the results of standard oil tests and typical DGA results or typically increased gases can be found. For this investigation a huge basis of results of oil tests from different transformers were involved.
