Abstract

Simulation-based approach for job rotation considering competences for human resource planning in manufacturing. Industrial companies know that, in times of demographic change and digitization, competences of the workforce have to be preserved and extended. The challenge for the companies is to identify further education measures and integrate them into everyday life. The following contribution introduces a job-rotation-approach, which maintains exercise levels of the employees and finds deficits in employee skills. This proceed supports decision making at human resource planning.
