Abstract
Employee competencies are a key factor for the enhancement of productivity and flexibility in production. However, they have received inadequate consideration in work planning so far. In this paper a methodology for technology- and competencebased work planning as well as work instructions for an integrated work scheduling are derived. In addition, the results of an evaluation of this methodology are presented using a webbased training.
