Abstract
The current situation of producing companies can be characterized by high dynamics, increasing turbulences, and scarce resources. The logistical performance represents a major differentiating characteristic within such an environment. In particular applying capacities flexibly becomes more important. The influence of capacity flexibility on the logistical system performance will be presented in this paper.
