Abstract
We present an extended concept to describe the interdependence among the parameters of a multivariate fit. Based on Femenias' "freedom" parameters, our concept provides the "overall dependence" of a parameter and its distribution among the "pair dependences" of this parameter from two or more other parameters. Finally, we propose a "freedom-cofreedom" matrix, displaying the parameter interdependence in multiplicative manner. Its computation can easily be implemented in the usual routines for spectroscopic fitting purposes.
