Abstract
In respect of the manufacture, innovative high-performance processes enable a higher flexibility, a short cycle time and a reduced energy consumption. The innovative turn rolling process offers an enormous potential for the described aim. Already during the soft machining of C45 material with high feed speeds, an excellent surface quality can be reached. The subsequent fine machining process is no longer necessary.
