Abstract

Highly stable laser towards spaceborne gravitational wave detection was presented. The low frequency noise of the lasers was dominated by thermal fluctuations of the cavities. The frequency stability required for laser interferometer space antenna (LISA) was demonstrated. Results showed that sub-KHz power spectral densities at millihertz frequencies were observed.
