Due to global competition many enterprises need to transform products and production processes. Competing requirements and a variety of design concepts thereby generate a complex decision area. The method of Global Redesign allows a multidimensional evaluation of this complex decision area. With the goal of a strategically favorable allocation of work contents within a global production network enhancement capabilities are determined, products are redesigned and design alternatives are benchmarked.
