Abstract
Design of Regeneration Supply Chains – Evaluating Synchronicity by the Use of Supply Diagrams. Apart from economic requirements regeneration service providers are confronted with high logistic demands. From a customer’s perspective downtimes of regenerating goods need to be kept at a low level. For the regeneration service provider it is therefore inevitable to deliver the prepared regeneration goods prompt and on schedule. Short throughput times and high schedule reliabilities reflect these logistic demands. To reach those requirements, a temporal and quantitative coordination of the supply chain’s material flows is necessary. It is possible to describe the coordination of material flows by using a supply diagram. The determination of the supply diagram based on an alternative approach as well as its use to assess the synchrony of material flows will be discussed.
