Abstract
Short-circuit current calculations, according to DIN EN 60909-0, contain approximations for the consideration of power plants with full-scale converters to enable a calculation without further knowledge of the grid state. The exact consideration of power plants with full-scale converters for an investigation of the used approximations is presented in this paper. A case study displays that the used approximations can lead to an undercutting of the minimal short-circuit current.
