Abstract

A time-dynamic calculation approach considering capacitive factors. The tool and mould making Industry needs an individual calculation because of their typical unique manufacturing and their attention to customer requirements. At the same time prices and dates of delivery are already fixed in the phase of supply planning. This leads to high demands on cost calculation and job order planning. Today a variety of supporting software systems is offered. However, they hardly consider time-dynamic components and prevent a transparent time-based argumentation. This paper presents an approach to a "time-dynamic calculation", which allows a time and capacity related price argumentation. First of all the situation of the tool and mould making industry is described and current approaches to price argumentations are described and evaluated. On this basis the Institute of Production Engineering and Machine Tools (IFW) of the Leibniz Unlversität Hannover is developing a concept to integrate time-dynamic components in the supply planning.
