Abstract
This paper discusses a device for evaporation's measurements which is based on the principle of the filterpaper. Its particular features are: simple construction, very low price, run over a long period with any maintenance. It is used for microclimatic and geoecological research especially in inaccessible regions such as the Alps and the Subarctic. The description of the device including measurements features and range of accuracy is completed by the presentation of the kno-how gathered during the practical application of this evaporimeter. It is shown how the measured values can be transformed into the standard evaporation values such as Piche-evaporation or the evaporation values according to Wild.
