Abstract
There has been much work on geoecological maps in Germany like that on Nienburger Geest. The authors explain the approach and aims of this type of analysis, their special approach to process-analysis, and its theoretical basis, together with the hierarchical levels used. They show how a GOKIS information system is used for landscape analysis, and its application to the Nienburger Geest. Finally they describe its merits. -D.J.Davis
