Abstract
This paper deals with some ageing investigations on two insulating fluids which appear to be particularly suitable for the retrofilling of a perchlorethylene based fluid (Transclene) filled transformers. After a description of the ageing procedure some details of the changes in both the dielectrical and electrical behaviour are described. A comparison of the measured values with the predetermination of the relevant standards and the consequences for the use of the insulation liquid mixture are presented.
