Abstract
There is shown a disposition of research that is applied at the moment for the instrumental quantification of a model area in the topological dimension. After some general remarks about the theoretic conceptions of the "geokomplex" the models by H. Richter (1968) and O. Fränzle (1976) are discussed with regard to their qualification as a base for the disposition of instrumental and quantitative investigations of the economy of landscape. It is necessary for the balancing of landscape-ecosystems that complexly registered balances are made that consist of geographically and in planning relevant quantities that can also be extrapolated quantitativelly over expanse-covering measurement. After the description of the conditions for selecting the quantities there are stated the conceptions of the aspired exactness. Six fundamental theses for the disposition of research are stated and the qualities of the model summarized. The way which is gone by the field investigation to realize the theoretical ideas of system is presented in the following methodical part. As on example serves a pedological-pedohydrological-climatological work of a representative area. The draft of this investigation is illustrated by the map of a measure-net and by the scheme of a field-station.
