Abstract
Ultrafast thin-disk lasers experienced great strides in their technological development and the ceiling still has not been reached. Exploiting different gain media [1-4], scaling of the output power [1], peak power [2], pulse durations [3] and emitted wavelength [4] have been shown along with several different types of mode-locking schemes [1,2,5].
