Abstract
We employ BRST invariance to explicitly determine the ghost part of the four-point vertex in Witten's open, bosonic, string field theory. This allows the computation of any covariant off-shell four-point amplitude involving physical as well as first-quantized auxiliary or second-quantized Faddeev-Popov ghost fields. We display some examples and complete the proof of associativity of the star product.
