Abstract
The paper deals with Thermally Stimulated Current TSC and space-charge measurements on epoxy resin and polycarbonate specimens. As specimens, served slices being cut out of reels with one mm thickness and different surface conditions. After a description of the specimen and the test procedure the results of TSC, and conductivity measurements of the specimen over the temperature range 0 °C to 100 °C are introduced. Based on a comparison of the results of epoxy resin and polycarbonate the characteristic of the space-charge in both materiales is discussed. Furthermore the space-charge relaxation in these materials is considered.
