Abstract
Evaluation of quality and economic efficiency of molds for the production of CFRP components is an important contribution to the design of process chains. Deviations in form and position of CFRP parts correlate with material and surface properties of the molds, which in turn influence the costs of mold manufacturing. In this article, the relationship between costs of mold manufacturing and CFRP part quality is analyzed using different valuation approaches for multi-stage manufacturing processes which are developed by the IFW.
