Abstract
The emergence of metropolitan regions raises the importance of corporate location planning on a regional level. In this article, a study reveals intraregional differences in the characteristics of business-relevant location factors, using the example of a German metropolitan region. Based on this, requirements for planning approaches are formulated and an approach for location assessment via regional location factors is presented.
