Abstract
The wetting behavior of liquids on solid surfaces is an important aspect while operating with apparatus of thermal mass separation. Especially under high pressure there is only few knowledge about that point. For water, ethanediol, formamide and toluene in dense nitrogen up to 25 MPa at a temperature of 295.7 K contact angles on a teflon surface were calculated. The square gradient theory was used, which gives information beyond contact angles about the structure of the interface by the calculation of density profiles through the interface.
