Abstract
In this paper, appropriate generic and compact antennas are investigated, which is able to achieve a reconfigurable band of operation with a good total efficiency over a broad frequency range in usage scenarios with the help of a tunable matching network. For evaluation, the tunability of two possible antenna types is studied and compared by using an identical tunable matching network.
