Abstract

Monitoring and diagnosis of power transformers gain in importance due to the long service time and the increasing load as consequence of the economical pressure. After a description of the tasks of monitoring and diagnosis systems the actual chemical, electrical and dielectric techniques are described with its possibilities and limits.
