Abstract
Existing factory planning processes are based on conventional project management concepts that emanate from a sequential planning process. Due to the dynamics in the project environment, these approaches, however, often encounter their limits. From other disciplines, for example software development, new concepts are known, which take the dynamics of projects into account better. In the survey, experts were interviewed regarding the potential use of factory planning and project management needs new approaches.
