Abstract
Safety components are the basic technology for cooperation between humans and machine tools in the field of production. A safety technology is highly required particularly for robotic systems with a direct interaction in the workspace. The BMBF project koSePro has the goal to provide this interaction economically for production. How a robot system can be designed safe, how the workspace will be secured and how the motordrive operates as a key technology will be descibe in this paper.
