The joint project of Leibniz Universität Hannover and the German Institute for Adult Education - Leibniz-Zentrum für Lebenslanges Lernen e.V. focuses on theoretically and empirically founded functions and educational goals of cultural education, access portals, intended target groups and the integration of the digital in the offer itself. This will be done through an analysis of VHS programmes.
The focus is on theoretically and empirically founded functions and educational goals of cultural education, access portals, targeted target groups and the integration of the digital into the offer itself. In addition, exemplary VHS offerings will be used to provide a deeper insight into the opportunities and challenges of service planning on the one hand and the learning, appropriation and usage processes of the participants on the other. The interconnection of the perspectives program offering, offer planning as well as appropriation and use processes forms the basis for an empirically based theory formation of digitized cultural education offerings for the description of current offer structures, the challenges and strategies for the planning people in the field as well as the appropriation and use processes by the participants that are targeted and describable in program planning.
