Description
The sub-project "Influence of aviation requirements on the design of Li-metal-sulfur battery cells" forms the bridge between the requirements of a battery system in aviation and the specific cell design optimized for this purpose. Objectives in the context of the overall project are:
- Derive specific parameters and development goals to improve the cell design with respect to the application requirements.
- Development of a physicochemical model to describe the influence of the design parameters on the operational behavior of a Li-metal-sulfur battery cell
- Demonstrate the dependencies between battery (system) design, application requirements and how to handle them methodically
