Description

The aim of the project is to modernize the range of courses in machine learning in Ukraine and to internationalize research through a summer school in Hannover and a series of workshops.

he Kharkiv National University for Radioelectronics (KNURE) and Leibniz University Hannover (LUH) will further expand their cooperation in the field of digital education and artificial intelligence to improve both teaching and research in Kharkiv. In addition to scholarships, which will enable KNURE students to write their final thesis in Hannover, a new digital service will be created, which will enable Kharkiv students to write their final thesis on current research questions of LUH at their home university. The thesis will be supervised from Hanover by means of a digital platform that will be expanded especially for this task.

Through a research stay in Hannover, doctoral students, postdocs and professors from Ukraine will have the opportunity to attend lectures or workshops on topics they are currently working on and to discuss their research with colleagues.

Through a summer school in Hanover, Master students of the KNURE and LUH will have the opportunity to further their education and to establish international contacts. During a one-week workshop in Kharkiv, LUH scientists will offer lectures on current research topics.

Based, among other things, on the experience that KNURE lecturers will gain during their stay at LUH, a new course on machine learning at the KNURE is planned.
