Abstract
The job perspectives of university graduates are a crucial factor in teaching assessments. But do current curricula prepare students for today's job demands? This issue will be discussed in the light of the closure of many departments, cutbacks of resources, and the Bologna Process. To get a better understanding for this situation and to seek for job-related education, the Department of Economic Geography of the University of Hannover regularly interviews its alumni. The results of the 2004 survey are presented here.
