Abstract
Industry 4.0 is on everyone’s lips and promises a multiplicity of innovations during the upcoming years. Large amounts of money are invested in projects relating to Industrie 4.0 and industrial enterprises work together in special clusters and networks in order to learn how to deal with Industrie 4.0. Unfortunately, an unambiguous understanding of what Industrie 4.0 actually means still cannot be found. This article presents the results of a quantitative database analysis as an approach to identify key topics of the mega trend Industrie 4.0.
