Abstract
The increasing performance of servo-electric motors leads to a rise of use of servo-presses in metal forming industry. The implementation of those servo presses takes more time compared to mechanical machines due to the complex structure of its electrical control circuits. The purpose of this project is to reduce to time and cost of these implementations by using evolutionary algorithms to find the ideal parameters for the drive control of servo-presses.
